Scientists find another Earth

After the smarty pants decided Pluto isn't a planet anymore, now they've discovered a new planet.

French scientists have confirmed with computer models that Gliese 581d, a planet orbiting a red dwarf star about 20 light years from here, has a stable atmosphere, comfortable temperatures, and a surface covered in liquid water. It's the first planet orbiting another star that could definitely support life, and it's basically next door.

Specs:

1. Twice the size of Earth (and six times the mass)
2. Rocky (not a gas giant like Jupiter or Saturn).

This means that it's large enough and dense enough to be able to hold on to a substantial atmosphere.

Downside? Probably would take them 300,000 years to reach the Gliese system. And next year is 2012.

Who doesn't know about this addicting 8-bit building stuff simulator. I don't but a lot people does so now there's a mobile version coming. More info will be given on E3 this June. I just hope this will kill Angry Birds.

How to prevent from being phished

Phishing is a way of attempting to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords (logins) and credit card details by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.

TL:DR, Fake page to make you give the bad guys your logins.

Targeted sites mostly are online banks, emails, facebook and filehosting premium accounts.

How to detect a phishing page:




Be cautious of short URL sites like tinyurl and bit.ly because it's one way to hide the real URL from you.

Therefore, watch where you click and your login details will be safe.

As the internet continue expanding, lies, frauds and mostly crap increases significantly. The main reason for this blog is to educate and raise awareness for a better internet experience for all.
